Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • ½ cup fire-roasted Hatch green chiles peeled, seeded, chopped
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 1 small tomato diced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a bowl.
  • Mash with a fork until smooth but slightly chunky.
  • Add chopped green chiles, red onion, tomato (if using), lime juice, and cilantro.
  • Sprinkle in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir gently to combine.
  • Taste and adjust salt/lime to your liking.
  • Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap pressed to surface to avoid browning.

  • For extra kick, add a minced jalapeño.
  • Use roasted green chile from Hatch for max flavor.
